About Coach Aaron
I've spent 20+ years learning what makes athletes better.
I've coached middle schoolers, pros and national team members. The lesson has been the same at every level. Talent gets you noticed. A well-built body lets you keep using it.
The short version
A strength coach who started as an athlete.
I played college football. I know what it feels like to be the athlete trying to get an edge, and how much of that edge is built away from practice.
Since then, I've worked alongside strength coaches from Big Ten and SEC programs, the NFL and Major League Baseball. I was one of 18 coaches selected from 355 applicants for Dan Pfaff's Altis mentorship.
What I took from all of it is simple. Test first. Build the foundation before chasing performance. Keep measuring, because the numbers tell you what's working.
Today I coach club athletes ages 11 to 18 in Apex, NC and online. Most of their parents want the same thing: an athlete who is stronger, faster and still healthy at the end of the season.

How I coach
Calm, curious and specific.
I'd rather explain why than shout louder. Athletes train better when they understand what a drill is for.
Parents get the same treatment: clear numbers, plain language and a plan you can repeat to someone else.
